Bowling Center Wage and Salary Survey Networking / Education Networking with other successful owners, managers, and key staff. With change the only constant in our business, it is important to stay informed and educated with new ideas and technology to serve the needs of our customers. State Programs: Western States Super Trade Show - Regional Education and Trade show held October in Reno, Nevada. Annual Oregon State Meeting - Held in July providing low cost education for our proprietors. Newsletter National Programs: International Bowl Expo - Held in June annually. Education and International Trade show. Mid Winter Meeting - Held in January in conjunction with the BPAA mid-winter Board Meeting. Free monthly Bowling Center Management Magazine BPAA Access newsletter - quarterly newsletter highlighting all the current programs and services available to members. Grand Prix Scholarship Program Keep your youth bowlers involved. This proven program helps retention of youth bowlers by providing a benefit of scholarship dollars based on participation in bowling. We have over 1300 youth bowlers participating in Oregon and hold over $340,000.00 in scholarship dollars for them. We have paid out over $100,000.00 in scholarships to Colleges/Trade Schools for Oregon bowlers in the last 8 years. Walk Around Pin Man The OSBPA purchased an inflatable 8 foot tall walk around pin man that can be used by our member centers for promotion of local events. Each member center gets 2 free days of use a year, and can be rented for more days if needed.
