We know you are angry, hurt and disappointed right now with the way our industry is being treated.

Oregon State BPA has been extremely active with our proprietors in communicating with our County Commissioners, our Chamber of Commerces, and Governor Kate Brown's office however possible. I know you don't see all of the work we have done but Proprietors in Oregon have never worked so well together for a common goal. We want to be open, stay open, and we want to see our bowling family again.

If you truly want to help us, join us in our efforts. Educate the powers that be about the centers you support. We are clean, sanitized and have protocols to keep our guests safe. Many centers have spent money on plexiglass dividers, masks for the public, and sanitation systems.

Food makes up 50% of our business. Make the point that we are your restaurant of choice and you have a meal while bowling. We have space for social distancing. We can't afford to roll backwards.

Most of Oregon is open but 12 centers still need your help. Here is a link to make it easy. First choice please call their office (503) 378-4582. You may have to leave a message but get heard. You can email or write. Whatever your comfort is, just do something productive to help.

Thank you! Without our bowlers we are nothing and we need you now.

Oregon Gov. Kate Brown issued a detailed ‘stay home’ order Monday morning.

Read it for yourself right here.

It details which businesses must close, which activities are prohibited and what the penalties for breaking those rules are.

It prohibits, beginning immediately, any social or recreational gatherings outside the home of any size in which people do not remain at least six feet apart.

It also prohibits non-essential businesses from operating and prohibits Oregonians from patronizing any that fail to close.

People found to have violated her order could be jailed for up to 30 days or fined $1,250.

The order will remain in effect until she calls it off.
